Last chance to see. The threat of climate change to Roman Vindolanda and Magna

This lecture will focus on the increasing detrimental effects of climate change on the buried archaeological deposits at the forts of Vindolanda and Magna. It will also explore the importance of measuring and monitoring the effects of climate change and how we can quantify what is happening to the preservation of anaerobic or anoxic archaeological deposits of the Roman frontier.
