Not since the mid-2000s has there been a very large conference dealing with the Iron Age in Britain. Since that time there have been major advances in methods, important new discoveries and the publication of some key sites for understanding the period. We feel the time is right to take stock, address the big questions and debates and consider the new research directions leading towards the mid-21st century.
