Archaeological Achievement Awards

The annual Archaeological Achievement Awards are managed by the Council for British Archaeology and aim to celebrate the archaeological achievements across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. There are five categories: Archaeological Innovation, Engagement and Participation, Early Career Archaeologist, Learning, Training and Skills, and Public Dissemination or Presentation as well as one overall Outstanding Achievement Award.

The Royal Archaeological Institute is proud to sponsor the Early Career Archaeologist Award. In 2025, the winner was Kayleigh Hibberd and the Highly Commended Award was presented to Melissa Lambe.
